King Spyda brings lyricism and unorthodox melodies and has written for many up and coming artists including “Sullee” (for his contribution on his song with Joe Budden) from the VH1 “White Rapper” Show. Starting at age 14, Spyda was also the protégé of Bobby Browns DJ, DJ REESE and raised/trained musically in the same studio “House of Hits” where New Edition and New Kids on the Block started off. He is a believer in respecting the art and culture of hip hop and doing it primarily for the love of the game.
Grymz has always been very witty lyrically entering street battles/cyphers such as his unforgettable appearance in the CHILLA JONES cypher and is a big fan of sports. He brings this competitiveness to the mic and every time he spits he is playing the game to win. Grymz has also opened up for many mainstream artists listed above and applies Jay-Z’s “I will not lose” mentality whenever he touches the mic.
They grew up together since about age 11 and together the two bring wit, easily-understood lyricism, real life street stories about; pain, love, failures, successes, partying, sex and drugs (life to sum it up). And they also come packaged with adaptability and a sound that will blend with todays and set the tone and trends for tomorrows music! Find on all platforms here: @thereuptv less
