Raised in the streets of Newark New Jersey weren’t easy for Haze, but growing up but where he found despair around him, he used that as fuel to make his voice shine with music. Hip Hop influenced Haze throughout his life and helped him see the silver lining within the hood that Haze calls home, opening a whole new outlook from artist like Outkast, Ludacris, DJ Quik, Beastie Boys and countless others. Haze has taken a page from Old School Hip Hop and drapes it throughout every beat and line he recites with a unique spin on it to show the world why is referred to as “Hip Hop Reincarnated”. Haze Brown wants to show the world that Hip Hop isn’t dead; in fact it’s still alive and well – with every song and verse he recites and with every project he releases! Haze started focusing on his solo career, after his mother suggested to him to write his frustrations into an album, which he made into his first EP called “F.O.H”.
F.O.H; an EP that focuses on the subjects of his anger stemmed from the stupidity and negative output from the society we are surrounded by, added to all the personal turmoil of his life that all brought him to a moment that made him say “Fuck outta here”. His second EP entitled “Hip Hop+Real Skills” is a collaboration project with producer and DJ ehT Mills that showcases Hip Hop’s influence on Haze and displays his unique yet nostalgic style of rhyming. Taking a page from eighties Hip Hop, Haze delivers blazing verses and ehT Mills provides killer production value to every song on the project. His first LP titled “Bright Lights Dim Minds” talks about the two sides of fame: the bright lights and the glamour and the dim minds behind all of the pitfalls of being famous. Featuring production from Drone, iLL Cosby and others, this project shows Haze’s inner turmoil as he goes through the ups and downs of being in the spotlight.
Haze Brown released his EP “Hip Hop+Real Skills”, his annual series started in 2012. This series features Haze Brown and a guest producer delivering nothing but excellent production values and rhyming skills. The first EP featured ehT Mills from Brooklyn, New York and his next release "Hip Hop+Real Skills Volume 2" features producer iLL Cosby hailing from Virginia. iLL Cosby’s unique production value matches with Haze Brown’s nostalgic yet refreshing verses to make an incredible project that makes you feel homesick for classic Hip Hop, yet infused with a new school twist that makes it stand out from the rest, while ehT Mills unique samples and solid East Coast vibe combined with Haze Brown's addictive style of delivery gives you the feel and sound of old school NYC Hip Hop.
