R100’s “Powder Blue” was released a while back along with “Party n BS” they both stayed in rotation in the viral world of Instagram and Tik Tok. They were favorites among dominant dancers and influencers online. His new ep Magic Melodies is anything short of amazing. The album grabs from reggae, hip hop, afrobeat & RnB mix. You know these sounds are gonna get everybody moving and in their feels. This swirling mass of influence is palpable throughout and divergent songs like “Low Low” and “Rule” illustrate the vast scope and eclecticism of the project. R100 is a rapper but there is so much more happening in Magic Melodies, these song attack the senses. Some of the EPs fiercest moments are produced by Ambience who just landed a single “who needs love” on Tory Lanez’s new album “The New Toronto 3”. R100 also worked with Xponent Beatz, Young OG Beats, Ransom Beatz, Jaemally Beatz, Certibeats & Roc Legion.
