Submitting your mixtape

There are 2 ways you can submit your music to Off The Ave.

1.) The first one being the easiest and most obvious is uploading your mixtape to our mixtape section on your own. This way, you are in control of track uploads, information, external links etc.

2.) Sending it into us to upload for you.

Both choices require you to follow basic submission guidelines and they are as followed:

A.) Your mixtape must have an album cover and the sizing NO LESS than 150x150. The preferable size is no less than 300x300 since search engines index the album covers.

B.) All songs must be properly titled and follow this track name order:

"Song #) Artist Name(s) - Track Title".

*Please do not substitute spaces for underscores or dashes (_-)

C.) Right now, Off The Ave is only accepting submissions from the Chicagoland area. This is because our member base audience is rooted in Chicago/Northwest Indiana (NWI) music. Once we establish dominance for the Chicagoland (including NWI), we can move on to the rest of the midwest and country and possibly, the rest of the world.

The ability to promote your music to your fans on and off the site.

The best method for adding your individual music tracks to the site is to wait for the artist fan page feature. Read the section below for more info.

Artist fan pages will soon be an added new feature to the site. It will allow for artist's to create and promote their own fan pages. Fan pages will include the options for the artist to add their own bio, upload their own tracks, videos, photos, add events, be rated, reviewed and the list goes on. This feature is coming in early 2012 so stick around!
