unrequited love

love surrounded her body her mind her soul
it filtrated her thoughts, invaded her and made her whole
she knew what she felt was real and strong
but to him she knew she would never belong
she wanted to captivate his life and fill some void
to him it was something he needed to avoid
love left her lips and it blew with the wind
it arrived at its destination, on his heart it was pinned
he picked it up, glared at its autrocity
just arriving with love, her damn audacity
he couldnt believe this unruly giving
he couldnt give back,give anything she was needing
he tore the package of love, scattering the feelings
he walked over it, to him it had no meaning
she watched from a distant, her heart stopped its beat
she blinked back the tears as the pieces floated to her feet
she picked up the pieces of brokeness and hurt
she needed to put it back together, and remove the dirt
make it wholesome again for love will soon reign
supreme over this loss, in someone else's heart it will remain
unrequited love for a moment its lost
